TRANSMUNE®IBD: IMMUNE COMPLEX TECHNOLOGY AGAINST IBD.
Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) has been a long standing challenge in the field. Producers needed a vaccine that worked in the presence of a relatively high level of maternal antibodies. In response, Ceva developed Transmune® IBD, a vaccine breaking through the Maternal antibodies barrier to reach the bursa. Consequently, it is providing an homogeneous and lifetime protection with a single dose administered via in ovo (in the egg) or subcutaneous injection.
Composition:
a live, freeze-dried immune complex vaccine (Winterfield 2512, G-61 strain and IBD antibodies) for the active immunization of broiler chicken against infectious bursal disease.
Indications:
Recommended for the active immunization of healthy 18 days old chicken embryo and healthy day-old chicks against infectious bursal disease (IBD or Gumboro disease) virus.
Dosage:
0.5 mL/embryo at 18 days age
0.1 mL/day-old chick
Precaution:
Satisfactory protection can be achieved only in well-developed healthy day-old birds or properly developed embryos with satisfactory vitals.
Dispose of all opened vaccine containers after vaccination, following recommended regulations.
Improper storage or handling of the vaccine may result in loss of potency.
Eggs to be injected should be candle and dead embryos should be separated
