INDICATIONS:

Pigs :

Treatment and control of pneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to Tilmicosin.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Oral use.

Administer into the feed at the dose of 8-16 mg of Tilmicosin/kg b.w. day (equivalent to about 200 – 400 ppm of Tilmicosin in the feed) for 15-21 days.

The uptake of medicated feed depends on the clinical condition of the animals. In order to obtain a correct dosage the concentration of Tilmicosin has to be adjusted accordingly.

To ensure thorough dispersion of the product, it should first be mixed with a suitable quantity of feed infredients (20-50 kg) before incorporation into the finished feed. This product can be incorporated into pelleted feed, preconditioned for the minimum time-period at a temperature not exceeding 75oC. 

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

The use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation as the safety of Tilmicosin has not been established in the target species during pregnancy, lactation and in breeding animals. 

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

In rare cases, the product can cause feed intake decrease. This effect is transient. 

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Meat and offal: Pigs: 21 days. 

STORAGE

Store at temperature below 25°C.

After using the product close the bag each time rolling the edges of the open side to protect the veterinary medicinal product from light and humidity.
