Early in 2016, Dr. Michael Felipe Quilitis, Ceva Philippines’ Veterinary Technical Services Manager, Swine Business, was accepted as a fellow of the Philippine College of Swine Practitioners (PCSP). Mike fulfilled the challenging requirementsfor membership into the elite and prestigious organization within a year of application. He has over 15 years of experience in swine practice, focusing mainly in general swine health and management. A good number of swine farms have experienced significant improvements in herd health under his guidance.

On the poultry team, we likewise applaud Dr. Mel Umandal – Veterinary Technical Services Manager, Poultry Business for the recognition as the Most Outstanding Veterinarian in Poultry Practice by the Veterinary Practitioners Association of the Philippines (VPAP) at the VPAP’s 44^th Scientific Conference last June 2. Mel’s long history of contributions to the Philippine poultry health advancement has been a critical factor in the selection process. He recently finished his Masters in Epidemiology and has over 20 years of experience in poultry farming – broiler, breeder and layer segments with both private and integrated farms.
